I had always wondered how Melanie (summer 2009) became so accomplished at applying those pesky illustrator gradients. Well, on her last day as Thirst’s summer apprenticeship, she told us that she had once worked at a packaging firm where she did the packaging for my favorite candy: DOTS! (sweet).
